About Us

Aditya is an experienced and skilful dentist from India. He has worked in Ireland and the UK for over 15 years in Oral Surgery. He has completed his Membership of Faculty of Dentistry from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

He enjoys general dental practice, but his main area of interest is in Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. His interest in surgery and dental implants led him to do courses in Switzerland and Germany for Implant Dentistry.

Dental Implants are a modern way to replace teeth which have been removed/lost for various reasons like decay, trauma, patients wearing dentures etc. The success rate of Dental Implants is 90% over 15 years.

Aditya is continually involved in professional development by attending seminars and conferences. He is a calm and kind dentist with a good sense of humour. His hobbies involve hiking, surfing and travelling.

Raksha is a Specialist Orthodontist. She trained as a dentist and Specialist Orthodontist  from  University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania. Raksha came to Ireland and started her Orthodontic career from 2019. 

When not engaged in orthodontic pursuits, Raksha enjoys her spare time with her family and friends. She is an avid fan of movies and the cinema. Travelling and exploring the Irish countryside is also a keen pastime.

Merlin is a gentle, friendly dentist known for her calming chairside manner and commitment to patient-centred care. She holds the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry (MFD RCSI) and has an advanced training in Oral Surgery, with comprehensive experience across general dentistry. She is dedicated to providing comfortable, evidence-based treatment for patients of all ages. Merlin also has a growing interest in aesthetic dentistry and enjoys helping patients feel more confident in their smiles.
She strives to make every visit relaxed and reassuring, particularly for those who feel nervous about dental treatment.
Outside the clinic, Merlin loves travelling, discovering new cuisines and cultures, baking and spending time with her husband and their cat.

Dr. Aashish Mishra is a dedicated general dentist with five years of experience practicing in Ireland. He is passionate about providing comprehensive dental care and strives to create a comfortable and positive experience for each patient.
Dr. Mishra graduated from UMF Lasi in 2017 and has since been committed to expanding his knowledge and expertise in dentistry. In 2022, he completed an Aesthetic Dental course at University College London (UCL), further honing his skills in cosmetic procedures.
Aesthetic dentistry is a particular area of interest for Dr. Mishra. He enjoys combining his artistic vision with his clinical skills to help patients achieve healthy and beautiful smiles. He is dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques to ensure his patients receive the highest quality of care.
Dr. Mishra believes in giving back to the community and has volunteered at a dental camp in India, providing essential dental care to underserved populations. This experience reinforced his commitment to serving others.
In his free time, Dr. Mishra enjoys playing video games, basketball, and traveling. He finds that these hobbies help him relax and recharge, allowing him to bring a positive and focused approach to his work.

Dr Dalia Aqel is a Palestinian General Dentist working at our two practices in Carlow & Clonmel.

"I graduated from University of Romania as a Dental Student in 2016. After graduating from university ,I spent 5 years working in Jordan. Initially, I was in an internship role before working as a General Dentist with a special interest in Prosthodontics.

I have always wanted to move to Ireland to work. I have worked in Ireland for the last two years and I am thrilled to join Western Dental Carlow and Clonmel.

My top tips for oral heath are :Brush 3 times a day, Floss, Use an oral rinse and reduce the frequency of sugar in your diet. Also pay us a visit every six months to keep on top of cleanings"

Kelly is our Surgical Dental Nurse / Practice Manager. She qualified with a distinction in Dental Nursing from Trinity College in 2023 and went on to complete her Dental Radiography in 2024 at the Dublin Dental Hospital. She currently works as a surgical dental nurse / practice manager, where she is passionate about providing high-quality patient care and supporting smooth clinical operations.

Outside work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as keeping active through regular exercise.

Agnieszka Ormanowska, is our qualified dental nurse and is a most valued member of staff. Agnieszka has been with the practice for over 15 years. She is extremely capable and competent and does everything she can to make your trip to the dentist relaxed and trouble free. Her gentle and caring nature will ensure you will feel at ease throughout your visit.

Shannon is one of our Dental Nurses. With her wide range of experience & knowledge within the dental industry including implants and surgical procedures to which she takes great pride in. Shannon looks forward to greeting all of her patients with her natural need to help others, she will make sure your visit is as calming and comfortable as possible.

Paula is our Orthodontic Nurse, Paula loves assisting in improving the patients smile and seeing how much there confidence grows. With Paula's friendly personality she is always up for a chat and Is great at putting the patients at ease. In her spare time she loves travelling, Spending time with friends and family and walking her dogs.

Ms. Kalpana Adhikari (FCCA) has been working as a Financial & Management
Accountant for last 12 years. She has years of experiences in wide range
of industries such as HSE, Alternative Investment Industries, IT Service
Management Industries as well as Not for Profit organizations in Ireland
& UK. Her areas of expertise are people management, problem solving,
financial management, compliance and complain handling.
